  • 人類学プロパーの人だけでなく(というよりも?)、科学史関連で人類学史(特に英国社会人類学史)がかかわるようなテーマ*1やってる人向けの情報です。

The Library of the London School of Economics and Political Science is happy to announce the completion of catalogues for both the papers and photographs of the anthropologist Sir Raymond Firth. The Firth archives reflect all aspects of Sir Raymond’s long and wide-ranging career, but highlights of the collection include field notes, diaries and photographs relating to Firth’s visits to Tikopia and Malaya and correspondence with Malinowski, Sir Edward Evans-Pritchard, Sir Edmund Leach and other professional colleagues.

LSE Library also holds a variety of other anthropology collections. The contents of these archives vary, but personal papers typically include field notes, photographs and letters from colleagues, while organizational collections usually include minutes, policy papers and administrative correspondence. The following list is not comprehensive, but further details are available in our online guide.
