• えげれすから日本に移り住んだ栗ちゃんのブログで、日本の巷で話題になっている「生協の白石さん」が紹介されてました。あの質問と回答を英訳するとこんな感じになるんだね。「牛を売ってください。」の回答の、そのまんまなんだけど、なんかちょっとそっけないような感じもする英語訳になぜかウケた。:)

Q. Please sell a cow
A. Thank you for your request. There was an office meeting today and we immediately concluded that we cannot keep cows in the shop. I am sorry.

Q. Don't you sell love?
