Pope Benedict XVI travels to Turkey on Tuesday for what is arguably the most dangerous, delicate and contested visit outside Italy made by any pope in modern times.

- ただ、もっとも危険でデリケートで異論も出ている海外訪問っていったって、半分は自業自得って気がするんだけど…。でも、あの発言があろうとなかろうと、かなり大変なことなのは間違いないなあ。いずれにせよ、何事もおきずに無事に予定を終了できて、かかわってる人たちが「成功」だったといえるようなイベントになってほしいと思います。これ以上事態が悪化するようなことっていやなんで。
