  • I went to Potsdam this morning, where many palaces were built by the Hohenzollern dynasty. The most famous palace is Schloss Sans Souci, which was built by the order of Frederick the Great and decorated in the Rococo style. The garden was large and the palaces are scattered within the garden. The distance between Schloss Sans Souci and Neues Palais (the New Palace also built by Frederick the Great) is approxmately 2km(!!).
  • I saw Potsdam´s Christmas fair at its high street (I suppose), which was small but still very pretty. The fairs in Southern Germany like Munich's must be wonderful. I had hotdogs and deepfried pancake. Especially the latter was fabulous, but they said this pancake is originally from the Netherland.
